Workshop: socialization of the proposal for the regulation of Research Centers and Institutes.

On April 5, 2022, the Vice Rector’s Office for Research and Graduate Studies and the Vice Rector’s Office for Outreach of the University of Caldas convened the “Workshop for socialization of the proposed regulations for the creation and operation of Research Centers and Institutes, technological development and innovation at the University of Caldas” in which the Faculty of Arts and Humanities and C-Transmedia participated. 

On behalf of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities and the Research Center C-Transmedia, constituted as such since 2020, attended the Dean of the Faculty, Claudia Jurado Grisales, Dario Arenas and Julian Orlas, in order to provide feedback on the document from the experience, knowledge and current needs of this type of organizations.

The proposal presented at the Rogelio Salmona University Cultural Center Auditorium, regulates the creation and operation of research, technological development, innovation and productivity centers and institutes, Science Centers and other interface structures at the University of Caldas.

The workshop was conducted with members of different departments, in a didactic and collaborative manner, by tables were shared observations on issues such as creation, structuring, development of work, financing and strengthening of these institutions, which contribute significantly with their research to the institution, university community and general development of the region.
