The C-Transmedia Research Center of the University of Caldas and the Center for Innovation and Educational and Technological Development CINNDET of the National Pedagogical University, consolidate as allies in their interest to promote the Fourth Industrial Revolution through disruptive projects for Colombia. 

On September 30, 2021, through the Youtube Channel CINNDET UPN, C-Transmedia participated in the “CINNDET Talk”, a virtual academic scenario, in which institutions and professionals share projects and experiences around development, innovation and technology from each of their fields of action. 

In this dialogue between the General Coordinator of Cinndet, Carlos Lopez and the Director of the Research Center C-Transmedia, Hector Fabio Torres Cardona spoke about Creation of digital content from postmedia work to transmedia strategies and innovation, highlighting the transdisciplinary approach of C-Transmedia and its commitment to research – Creation of digital content. 

At the time of raising the importance of transmedia narratives and its current bet for educational, public and productive institutions, Hector Fabio Torres, explained “When I think of transmedia, I imagine a content jumping from one side to another, as if an ethereal figure jumping from one side to another, here the film format, there text format, there hypertext … and so on …” that is what we have done with some of our allies. 

Some C-Transmedia area coordinators, such as Dario Arenas, Daniel Gómez and German Vinasco, spoke about the center’s strategies to approach issues from the global rather than the local, and to conceive challenges in what are usually called problems, thus facilitating the development of innovation processes. 

Finally, Mateo Soler from the CINNDET team, stressed the need for continuous updating and reconstruction of research centers, taking into account that these are generating and receiving bodies of new knowledge, taking up Torres’ idea, about the inclusion not only of teachers but also of students for the integration of these in scenarios of ideation and co-creation.
